Description
This Art Deco ring of fanciful bubbles and geometric swirls is a vintage Hollywood look. The design is set with Swarovksi baguettes and round cut crystal. Its wide comfortable ring band is open at the back and adjustable to fit sizes 6-9. Burnished bronze finish. Signed Sweet Romance USA. The Inspiration: Sparkling statement rings, both diamond and crystal appeared in the 1920s to complement the new cosmetic craze--nail polish. It was called Cutex, and for decades, a product name every bit as eponymous as Kleenex and M&Ms. Attention to the manicured, expressive hand included larger, more interesting, sparkling rings. In the movies, the sweep of a bejeweled, manicured hand could caress a martini glass, suggestively light up a cigarette, then repel a "fresh," ungentlemanly advance.
0.875" L x 1" W, adjustable band
